Hi folks this is the second update/blog. I’m try’n to get my head around this new type of working/interweb/online stuff…and hoping to keep my head above water and have a life as well.

Thanks to everyone who picked up a copy or bought one of the older albums, which are selling again now the website is up, thanks to Neil. I’m not making a fortune, there will be no swimming pool, but it’s going well.
Also thanks for the kind words people are putting up online. That’s the most import part, when people contact you or say that they are enjoying the music… please keep that coming (my ego needs it) Or just send money, drugs or sweeties.
We also have a load of gigs coming up, right across this wonderful island and more in the pipe line. So far Galway, Limerick, Cork and Derry…
Rory O’ Doherty has joined Jennifer and myself on percussion, the difference is incredible. His vocals and playing fills out the sound no end. It’s a pleasure to be standing beside someone so talented. We had our first real show last week in Rodden’s Bar, what a great night.. a wee bit cold out the back but thanks to all who showed up.
I’m working on demos for the next album…. I have about 8 finished and other 8 in the works. I put a wee video out a couple of weeks ago of “The Brightest Flame” and the feedback and views have been overwhelming.
Lots can relate to the story and we all know someone who has taken that path. More happy songs to follow… I swear!
One of the shows we have coming up is in The Millenium Forum on the 8th of January. This will be the cream of Derrys talent. We are joined by Cara McCafferty, Big Marty Healy, Shaun McCafferty and Tommy Quigley. I can say they are the best this city has to offer and also I’m proud that they are my friends. If you’re looking for a good present for someone this Christmas then this is it…Along with my new album, you can’t go wrong!
